Part 1. Steps on how to download musics from online websites (Take Youtube for example)

Step 1. Download Total Music Downloader, install and launch it on your PC at first

Download Total Music Downloader at first, install it following the installation wizard. After installing software, you can launch it by double click the Total Music Downloader icon and get the main interface as below:

Step 2. Go to Youtube site, and find the video you want to download as mp3 music, play the video online

Just play the Youtube video online, Make sure the download icon is Turned on like . If the download function is on, Total Music Downloader will detect the video URL and download the mp3 music from Youtube video automatically

After downloading files completely, you can right click at the file in file list window, you can get the menu like below:

Part 2. Convert downloaded musics to other formats you want

Step 1. After all musics downloaded completely, click "Converter" icon on the toolbar, you will get the converter window poped up, the downloaded files will be listed automatically in the converter window. You can choose any one to convert by checking the checkbox ahead of the file name. Total Music Downloader supports batch conversion well.

Step 2. Customize output settings for target musics

Click "Format" dropdown list, you can get various audio formats to choose as output. Click Settings button, you can customize the output parameters for output musics, like bitrate, sample rate, Channels, codecs.

Step 3. Start Conversion By clicking Start button.

After all essensial settings, you can click Start button to start conversion.

Part 3. Clip Music files into segments with Total Music Downloader

Leemsoft Total Music Downloader also performs as an music audio clipping tool. With embeded clipping function, you can clip downloaded musics and local musics into segments with customized start and end points freely.

Step 1. Click "Tools" menu, choose "Clip..." option, get the Clip Window below:

Step 2. Click "Add" button to add music files into the clipping tool. MP3, WMA, M4A, AAC, WAV formats are supported. You are also allowed to add music folder to the music clipping tool.

Step 3. Set the start point and end point

Method 1. Set start time and end time by clicking "" and ""

Method 2. Set start time and end time by moving the small trangle icon on the playing bar "" ""

Method 3. Set start time and end time directly by inputing the value in the segments list window

Step 4. Click "Apply" button to save segments.

Step 5. Click "Advanced..." button to set the output path for clip musics.

Part 4. Edit ID3 Tag for WMA, MP3, M4A, WAV musics

Leemsoft Total Music Downloader software performs as a professional music downloader and editor tool which allows you to edit ID3 Tag for MP3, WMA, M4A, WAV musics freely.

Step 1. Click "Tools" menu, choose "ID3 Editor..." option to get the ID3 Editor Window

Step 2. Choose the music folder on the right Windows directory, then all musics in the folder will show in the file list window. Select any music you need to edit ID3 Tag in the file list window.

Step 3. Input the information for selected musics. You can edit the ID3 Tag information including artist, album, year, track, comments, genre for MP3, WMA, M4A, WAV musics.

Step 4. Click "Stamp" button to save these ID3 Tag information to your music files. Done.
